City of Kenmore Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan Online Open House
Welcome to the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan Online Open House!
The City of Kenmore is currently updating the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) plan and we need your input. The PROS Plan is an important part of the Kenmore Comprehensive Plan that guides the preservation and expansion of the park, recreation, and open space system within Kenmore.
The PROS Plan must be updated every six years for the City to remain eligible for various grants that support parks and recreation services, and to ensure parks and recreation planning and programming is meeting the needs of the community. Learn more and share your feedback through a brief survey or by adding your idea to map below.

Community Engagement:
The City of Kenmore is updating the PROS Plan throughout 2025 and community engagement is an important part of the Plan update. In April, City staff interviewed local organizations and community members to get input on what they would like to see. Feedback from the interviews emphasized improving accessibility, enhancing waterfront access, promoting active lifestyles through new facilities, preserving natural environments, and fostering cultural and community engagement.
The City will continue to involve the community in this process through public meetings, surveys, and feedback opportunities like the Farmer’s Market, an Open House, and other special events throughout the summer to ensure the updated plan aligns with the values and needs of Kenmore residents.
Upcoming In-Person Engagement Opportunities:
Planning Commission Meetings - Tuesdays, June 10, July 1, August 5, 7pm
Open House at City Hall - Tuesday, July 22, time TBD
Kenmore Farmers Markets - Date TBD
